Safety Committee Open House

The ABC Safety Committee is hosting its biannual Open House. This is the perfect time to grab a bite to eat, meet the Safety Committee and get your safety questions answered.

The Open House will be held at the Cincinnati Training Center, Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010. The Training Center is located at 425 Elliott Ave. in CIncinnati. Registration is FREE, but you must be registered in order to attend. Lunch will be provided. The Open House will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is geared toward owners or individuals responsible for jobsite safety.

The topic for the Open House will be "OSHA Update." Dick Gilgrist, OSHA Cincinnati Area Director, will address the attendees on the latest regulatory changes from Washington. Mr. Gilgrist will also go over Hearing Conservation requirements for construction.

This program meets the BWC 2 Hr. training requirement for Group Rated Employers. Registration deadline is Sept. 3, 2010.
